Round Rock Fire Department Pipes & Drum History

The Round Rock Fire Department Pipes & Drum band was founded by a couple of guys back in 2010. Their vision was to incorporate the old tradition of Scottish and Irish piping and drumming into the Round Rock Fire Department. As we have grown over the years, our playing has too. Our players have been fortunate enough to play all across Texas, to include: Arizona, Colorado and Washington DC. Through our playing, we continually strive to bring Honor, Pride and Tradition to the Round Rock Fire Department, our surrounding citizen community, and the piping and drumming community. You can find us in local parades, memorials, celebrations and first responder functions. We are a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Our Mission:

First an foremost… Honor our fallen first responder family by being there at their funeral or memorial. Giving back to the fire service and community the traditions that piping and drumming tunes provide. Committing to our chosen instrument, and playing it the best we know how. Seek self improvement and musical higher education. Rely on each other, and be a part of a dynamic team that pushes one another to bring out our personal best. Be humble and look for ways to serve through music.
